Uvolve's Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients (Serves 4)

🥔 300g Carisma Potatoes (Coles)

🥩 500g 5% Fat Extra Lean Beef Mince (Coles)

🧀 50g Eat Lean Cheese

🥛 125ml Coles Lite Milk (Fat-Free)

🧅 100g Onion (diced)

🍅 400g Coles Italian Diced Tomatoes

🥕 300g Woolworths Australian Carrots, Peas & Corn

🥫 175g MasterFoods Savoury Mince Recipe Base



Directions

  1. Preheat Oven

    Set oven to 180°C (fan-forced).

  2. Cook the Potatoes

    Place chopped potatoes in a pot of salted water and boil for 10–12 minutes until soft.

  3. Brown the Mince

    Meanwhile, heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add mince and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.

  4. Add Veggies & Sauce

    Stir in diced onion, cook for 2 minutes, then add diced tomatoes, savoury mince seasoning, and mixed vegetables. Simmer for 5 minutes until well combined.

  5. Mash the Potatoes

    Once soft, drain the potatoes and mash with lite milk. Season with salt and pepper until smooth and creamy.

  6. Assemble

    Spread the mince mixture evenly into a casserole dish. Top with mashed potato and smooth with a fork. Sprinkle with Eat Lean cheese.

  7. Bake

    Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden on top.
